I love being able to see shows from San Diego Broadway, and next year’s 47th season looks like it’s going to blow the rest of them out of the water!

Although season 46 just passed its midway mark with Chicago, they’ve announced the lineup for the 2024-25 season and it really looks like they mean it when they say it’s going to be the best one yet.

I stand at just under 6’6. For some, that sounds like a dream. For me, it’s been quite the point of contention throughout my life. Honestly, it's still something I struggle to accept about myself.

Truth is, regardless of who you are, all eyes fall on you when you walk into a room at that height. I’ve always been among “the tallest” of people, and throughout my life, it has always prevented me from “blending in.”

The first time I saw Skillet live, I got rear-ended by a semi-truck. My parents weren’t fond of the idea of me going to a concert, and my mom was hoping I would change my mind after the accident. I, however, was the first to arrive in line the next day, and pushed my way to the front row center when the doors opened.

Every person has doubts in regards to attaining something they set their mind to, and we must first overcome them to better ourselves and bring ourselves closer to our goal.

The truth is, you know yourself better than anyone else, and the simplest answer to knowing when you’re ready is admitting it to yourself.

Working for yourself sounds like the ideal life situation, does it not?It’s a commonly shared dream amongst people, but most of the time, the dreamer gets caught up in the “How do I”’s.
